Hi Joe
You may need to forward ports through your ROUTER this will have an effect on searches and up and downloads since you dont say what model you have here is a general tutorial on forwarding ports: http://www.mxpie.info/router.html Also all Primary users must run Peerguardian here is a tutorial om install: Peerguardian tutorial http://www.gemini777.net/tutorials/pg.php |

Since you did not give the complete Model number of you router this one should be simular: http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Netcomm/NB5Plus4/WinMX.htm
fill in the ip and the tcp and udp port numbers in the provided boxes and scroll through the tutorial on who to setup portforwarding. |
