Problem: I am having problems with...connecting. It worked two days ago. I went today to connect and get the yellow flashing lght. I downloaded winmx w/communtiy patch and that didn't work i removed it and then removed mxpie v3.6. I then reinstalled the patch. it is still flashing yellow. I then went back and restored my registry to when it was working still flashed yellow. Once and one time though after i had mx running it connected up after about 30 minutes don't know how. I haven't been able to get connected since and i can't even get on the chat channels. I have read alot of the connection issues but they aren't what i am expierencing or they are different from what i have. The only thing i dont have in my winmx file is the oledlg.dll is there another one with .ini extension?

I think we talked in the help room allready but here is my suggestion:

We dont support that patch here is a tutorial to remove and reinstall our patch: Remove community patch http://www.winmx4u.com/WinMXCommunityPatch/index.html

Not removing this patch corectly will cause many problems you cant run two patches at the same time they conflict follow the above tutorial to remove correctly.

As too connection servers are working there was a problem but its fixed now.

All is working now. It only took a few seconds now to conect up now. Weird how for two days it took 35-45 miniutes to connect. But all is good thanx for the help
