Normally there is an Upgrade option in the router settings. It should show the current version of firmware loaded and an area to upload a bin file for updating it. You have to be very careful when upgrading firmware that you get the right version, if not the process may fail and you could be left with a non-working router. Since you are not in the UK, If I were in your situation I don't not think I would risk installing the UK version you found above. It might be a good idea to call your ISP and ask if they have experienced any complaints of DHCP leasing problems with your model of router and version of firmware. Tell them that your router seems to be periodically deleting the WAN IP address leaving you offline for 30 seconds to a minute before it leases a new IP. You can see this here:

18:22:04 (since last boot) DHCC IP address 87.227.102.174 deleted: ok

18:22:35 (since last boot) DHCC IP address 87.227.102.174 (255.255.255.0) set on intf Internet: ok

And the same thing happened again in the second log you posted.

Good Luck Smile

and he hade no advice to me att all accually :=)

i now see 4 trails for me to go on?

1. fix a hardrive and go back to my older computer

2. Ask around on Internet help forums?..about my computer preferences and this problem in combi..if anyone perhaps know anything about settings? in the Chipset, Mothergoard im use on this computer

3. try to find anyone who can understand Network sniffer programs..and help me analyze the loggs thei provide

4. Leave my previous life behind me, get myself a weird hat... and travel to Roma...and live together with gulls and eat baked beans in tomato, sett up a tent on the street and take pictures every day on Coloseums left brooken rear...and force national Geographic to take them inside paper

? Smile

1. I think this is either a router problem or an isp problem. However since your isp said they are not experiencing any issues with their DHCP server, I would concentrate on ruling out the router as the problem now.

2. It could be helpful to search around on internet help forums to see if others are having similar problems with the same model of router or internet provider.

3. Your router logs clearly show a DHCP leasing issue.

4. lol

Do you own or could you borrow a different router that you could hook up at your house for a day or two to see if the same problem happens with it also?
