WinMX Version: 3.54

Installed Patch: MXPie Patch

Type of WinMX Connection: Primary

Installed PG2: No

Added WinMX Lists: I don't know

Problem: I am having problems with... I have vista 64. When I turn off the computer then turn it on -
The incomplete files from my library do not go to the transfers file. if a downloaded file is not completed and my computer restarts I lose the download. Also, when a download is
completed, the name looks like this ---Incomplete_(Movie) Sting,The34562267752683838383838
I have to find it on my music and rename the old way.

Hi Rexcali

Vista does not like the default location for your downloads.

1. Create a NEW folder on any Drive you like and call it Downloads or what ever you like to call it.

2. Move all you incomplete files into this NEW folder. (Do all of this with Winmx off)

3. Restart Winmx Repoint Winmx to the NEW folder and pick Load Incompletes this should fix your problem.

Also Primary users must install Peerguardian here is a tutorial on installing on Vista:
