Ciao a tutti, sono nuovo di questo forum e ne approfitto subito per chiedere un consiglio..
uso winmx da molti anni e l'ho sempre usato sulla rete opennap, aggiorno i server con napmx e fino a circa 2 anni fa riuscivo a scaricare bene.
Praticamente connetto i server e cerco il file che mi interessa, mando un pò di download e solitamente 1 parte (ovviamente condivido e scambio), quando mi connetto con fastweb funziona sia in download che upload, ultimamente invece posso solo connettermi con alice 2mb e non riesco più a scaricare nulla..
nessuno riesce a scaricare da me e la mia connessiane sembra iniziare a partire ma poi cade (time out..) nonostante abbia 35 server connessi e più di 4000 files trovati...
Secondo voi come mai??
ho disattivato sia zone alarm che il firewall di xp..

Intanto inizierei con il dirti che un server che ospita utenti fastweb non è detto ospiti utenti alice... (solitamente vengono creati server fastweb e server per adsl dentro un network opennap) un altra cosa importante per quanto riguarda i server è che sono gestiti completamente da chi li crea... quindi non è detto che ci sia un problema tuo.. potrebbe esserci un problema di chi li crea... la soluzione migliore per quanto riguarda i server opennap è chiedere agli amministratori dei server in questione da quello che sò solitamente i server fastweb non accettano utenze adsl ma essendo opennap un programma opensource non escludo che l'amministratore del server possa pure aver modificato i server stessi!!
I provider come fastweb non danno un ip pubblico ai suoi utenti (se non lo si compra) (praticamente fanno tutti parte di una rete interna fastweb) di conseguenza non possono mappare delle porte e non lavorano nei normali server fatti per le adsl e varie...

Non essendo un grande esperto potrei anche sbagliarmi ma vedo appunto la soluzione nel contattare l'amministratore di uno di quei server dove hai problemi:)

Intanto facci sapere se riesci in caso contrario proverò cmq ad informarmi sulle possibili altre cause del tuo problema..


Benvenuto anche a te Ton ... ma non sò cosa risponderti xkè non ho capito cosa intendo con la tua domanda cerca di essere più specifico... intanto ti informo che i server opennap su winmx si possono aggiungere tramite file wsx che trovi nelle ricerche o nei siti appositi come GotNap

Ciao a tutti, anche se è diverso tempo che uso winmx volevo solo sapere se è effettivamente necessario aggiornare i server, in caso affermativo mi potete dire come effettivamente si eseguono le operazioni di aggiornamento.

Si parla ovviamente di server opennap puoi trovarne diverse liste su www.gotnap.com e su www.winmxitalia.it

è necessario aggiornarli ovviamente perchè alcuni cambiano indirizzo o chiudono e ne aprono di nuovi.. ma è sempre stato così
Serve solo se ovviamente a quelli che usi non ti connetti

I server opennap non hanno nulla a che vedere con la rete di winmx.. non confondetevi:)
