There is a new type of attack occurring on the WinMX network that effects channel hosts. If you are hosting with WinMX, FX, Ouka, WCS, or other third-party servers you may currently be effected by this attack.
The WinMX Block list from sabmx.net has been updated with a new range to block the attack at your computer and help reduce bandwidth wastage. If you are currently running PeerGuardian 2 please update your WinMX-Block list from http://files.sabmx.net/pg2/block.txt . If you are not running PeerGuardian 2, or don't have the WinMX-Block list, the guide to installing it and setting it up with the recommended lists is below.
